Year 6 Camp 2019
A wonderfully wet three days were had in a forest in the grounds of Cholmondeley Castle in the heart of leafy Cheshire. The weather was definitely against us but that didn’t dampen our spirits or stop the fun and laughter! Days were spent learning survival skills, shooting arrows from a bow and throwing axes. The evenings were spent playing in the, usually forbidden, muddy puddles, honing our camouflage and concealment skills then, before retiring to our yurts, warming ourselves by the campfire enjoying a delicious hot chocolate and a toasted marshmallow. We returned home with a bag full of muddy clothes but memories that will last a lifetime!
