The Queen’s Hat – Reception
To celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee we learnt all about the Queen in Reception. We enjoyed listening to the story The Queen’s Hat and looked at the story Naughty Bus and learnt all about London. A mystery box was delivered to us and we discover it was in fact a hat that the Queen “lost”. We have been very busy counting people on the bus, finding London on a map, painting the queen, making crowns, writing lost posters and letters about the hat and taking on different roles at our bus station and much more – what an amazing term!
