Self Portraits in the EYFS
In Reception Class this half term we have been learning all about ourselves, our feelings, similarities and differences. Self portraits are a key part of learning and personal development in the new Early Years curriculum.
We have been using mirrors to look at our faces and create our own wonderful self-portraits. The children loved drawing pictures of themselves, along with pictures of their friends and family. We spoke about our feelings and how we see and value ourselves as individuals.
