Maths in Reception
The children have recently been learning about Partitioning and Understanding Part- Whole, Teens Numbers, 2D and 3D shapes
They used numicon to show how many different ways numbers to 10 can be partitioned into two parts.
Other activities with Continuous provision was drawing teen numbers in sand and counting out cotton wool balls to create the teen numbers on snowmen. Going on a shape hunt to find different 2D and 3D shapes.
