Forest School Experience for Reception
Today was our first visit to Roots to Branches Forest School in Thistleton. It was very cold, however we had a fantastic time looking at the holes that badgers have been making and collecting sticks to throw in the large puddles. One of our favourite parts of the morning was sitting around a campfire toasting marshmallows. They were delicious!
Through our visits to the Forest School we will also be developing our personal and social skills including speaking and listening, cooperating, collaboration with others.
Take a look at our photos to see that we had a lot of fun and we can’t wait to go again! New visit for RW Mrs Willis’ Class will be Wednesday 11th March 2020.
