Chinese New Year in EYFS
We loved learning all about Chinese New Year in EYFS this term. The children learn about the different traditions surrounding the celebration, we researched where china was, located it on a map and learnt key facts about China. We also created our own hats, red envelopes and listened to the great race story. We were excited to try different food that would be eaten in China. The children loved trying the different food and particularly liked trying the fortune cookies and listening to their fortunes which were kindly donated to school from different Chinese restaurants in the local area.
