A Huge Effort from Our Chaucer Football Team
Today, our football team took on a very strong Poulton St.Chads side. The final score was 9-0 to St.Chads, but the scoreline certainly doesn’t reflect the incredible effort, determination, and commitment shown by our players.
We knew we were facing a very challenging team, including players who are involved with football academies, but our team never stopped working hard. They battled for every ball, supported one another and continue to give 100% right until the final whistle.
These are the matches where our players learn, develop and grow as a team, and we couldn’t be prouder of the attitude they showed tonight. They never gave up.
Player of the match goes to Lewis. Lewis was outstanding, given 100% effort throughout the entire game. His commitment to the team, encouragement of his teammates and leadership on the pitch were fantastic. He showed real captain qualities and was a great example of the attitude we want to see from our players.
A big thank you again to the amazing young leaders refereeing the game
