Poppy Craft Morning
Fleetwood Town Council are working in partnership with the with the Willow Garden Project to create a “sea of poppies” display. They will be on show in Fleetwood from July to November.
Dawn Spooner (FTC) and some ladies from the Willow Garden Project came into school yesterday to show us how to make the poppies from plastic bottles. A group of children from 5B had a great time making two poppies each, everyone was very impressed at how effective they looked. It’s hoped that everyone in school will get the chance to make a poppy and contribute to what will be an amazing display in our town and maybe Chaucer will do one of their own…
