Elliott’s Cup Quarter Final
Today we played Stanah in the quarter final of the Elliott’s Cup. It was a nail-biting game that ended in a 2-1 loss for us.
Our boys showed immense spirit and determination throughout the match. Zac scored our goal from a penalty kick, showcasing composure in a high-pressure situation. Jenson was outstanding in goal, making a number of incredible saves that kept us in the game. The defensive unit, comprising of Blake, Maliki, and Finley, delivered a strong performance, ensuring we were resolute at the back.
I must commend Zac and Max for their tireless work in both defence and attack, helping to push forward when we had possession. Adrian also demonstrated great tenacity, constantly seeking to break through the opposition’s defence and making some commendable attempts on goal.
I am extremely proud of all the boys for their hard work, teamwork, and determination. They should be very proud of their efforts and the progress they have made as a team.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Holt and Mr Perry for their invaluable guidance and coaching of the team.
