Sea Life Centre and Blackpool Tower

On Wednesday 8th November, Years 3 and 4 went on an educational visit to the Sealife Centre in Blackpool. Each class explored the Sealife Centre looking at over 200 creatures – from the curious and the rescued to the rare and the enigmatic.

Many of the creatures are on the endangered list, have been rescued and cannot be released into the wild or have been born and bred as part of the conservation projects at Sea Life Blackpool.

Finally, the classes finished the visit at Blackpool Tower. They went up to The Eye and were able to see the size of the Irish Sea and discuss how it compared to the scale and size of other seas and oceans.
