Dear Parents/Carers,
At Chaucer we are introducing a new learning platform, Google Classroom, which will enable a pupil to access learning at home which has been set by our teachers. If a ‘bubble’ should be sent home from Covid-19, or a pupil has to self-isolate, then your child’s learning can continue.
Your child has been issued with an email address and password so they can access this. The children are being taught how to do this in school and to begin with we shall start to put some homework on Google Classroom. Please inform the class teacher if your child is unable to complete their homework tasks.
Google Classroom can be used on laptops, iPads, tablets and smartphones.
Parents and teachers can still communicate through Class Dojo and teachers will continue to award dojo points. In addition, we have TTRockstars, reading on Rising Stars, Accelerated Reader, Oxford Owl and Studyladder.
