Library Visit on World Book Day

Yesterday, to coincide with World Book Day, classes 5/6G and 6P started the first of our regular outings to Fleetwood library. The visit started with a talk from the library staff. They explained how the children can use the library and the other things that they offer such as the Lancashire reading trail and various clubs and activities.

Everyone had a great time choosing their books and learning how to use the self checkout system. Some children couldn’t wait to start reading and got stuck into their books while still at the library and on the minibus on the way back to school!

We will be visiting the library every three weeks.
