Key Stage 1 have been busy being scientists at home and school!
Year 1 and 2 have been learning about the seasons and weather and have kept observation diaries to see what the weather has been like every day.
We have also planned and undertaken some investigations:
We tried to answer the questions ‘Which day is the rainiest? and ‘Which day is the windiest?’
Windsocks
We made windsocks and have planned a fair test, checking the wind at the same time and place each day and recording our observations as a drawing.
Rain gauges
We have made rain gauges, using our Maths skills to make a scale and again planned a fair test, checking the our gauges every day at the same time and writing down how many cm rainfall there has been!
