A Trip to Fleetwood High
On Monday 20th of November, a group of children from 5/6G were invited to Fleetwood High to attend a design and technology session. The challenge was to plan, design and build a bridge.
The bridge had to be strong enough to take a 1kg truck, a boat had to be able to pass clearly underneath and it had to fit well onto the ready built base.
The children worked really hard on their bridge, continually testing and improving their design and showing great teamwork. In the end they built a sturdy bridge which met all the criteria and successfully worked at final testing.
