A Special Invitation From Fleetwood Town Football Club
A massive thank you to Fleetwood Town Football Club for inviting ten of our children to the ‘Move and Learn’ event at Poolfoot Farm and then to Highbury Stadium to watch Fleetwood Town vs Plymouth Argyle.
All the children had a fantastic day, playing various games such as handball and football. Our children behaved impeccably and were a credit to the school. There was lots of smiles as the children thoroughly enjoyed the day.
After lunch, the children were then taken to Highbury Stadium where they were surprised by a stadium tour. They had an all access pass to the first team changing rooms, physio room and the opportunity to walk down the tunnel out into the manager’s technical area.
There was yet another surprise for the children, as the scoreboard prior to the game showed the crowd what the children had been doing all morning and a brief description of what the ‘Move and Learn’ initiative is all about.
Following the photo opportunity in front of the scoreboard, we went to our seats, enjoyed a brilliant game of football and cheered Fleetwood Town to an important 2-0 win in the pursuit of the play-offs.
All in all, it was a great day with memories that the children will take with them for a lifetime.
